Can i re-melt the salves that dried gritty and then repour to dry in the fridge? If so, how would you recommend I go about it?

In reply to Barbara. Hello Barbara, Yes, it is likely that any noticeable graininess will decrease if immediately refrigerated after being poured. This is because all the fatty acids solidify at once instead of at different temperatures, which causes the grainy effect. You do not have to store them in the fridge after they are solid though, since they do not contain any water.

Does this apply for lip balm as well? I make my own, but I use candelilla wax instead of beeswax. I adjusted my recipe and added a little bit more Shea butter, but did not put them in the fridge raider this time and I noticed after about two months the lip balm is starting to dry out. So you think putting them in the fridge raider after putting them in the tubes would fix this?? Any help would be great because I’m looking to sell mine and start a business
