Hello Madeline, we don’t have a recipe available using magnesium flakes at the moment, because they must be used with a water based component. To do that with pure butters and oils you would need to also use an emulsifying wax and a preservative.

However if you’d like to combine shea, mango and cocoa butters with jojoba and/or marula oil (or other carrier oil of your choice) that can definitely be done. If you’d like to use a combination of butters, such as shea, mango, and cocoa, many customers who opt to do this tell us they prefer using the ratio for mango butter and oil as it is a medium-hard butter and the oil ratio lies in between the ratio for a soft butter (shea) and a hard butter (cocoa).
